Absolutely not. Everything is included in the per-pound price. No add-ons for special detergents or special requests. The only exception is large household and bedding items.

We’ve put in place an email reminder to help make sure you don’t forget. However, if you occasionally forget to leave your laundry out, we can usually pick up within a day or two. No problem. When you sign up, we take note of a pre-designated location where you can leave your laundry that is safe from the elements and accessible to us. Some customers have us leave their laundry at their back door or in an apartment foyer if they are not home.
That depends on your neighborhood. We make every effort to build our routes to make sure you have a consistent and convenient pickup/drop-off time each week.
Sure. We send all of our customers an email reminder the day before scheduled pickups.
Absolutely. Many of our customers have Simply Clean pickup and deliver to their workplace and even to their cars at their workplace. We are very flexible. Just let us know the location when signing up and we will make it happen.
When the weather’s bad we double-bag your laundry to make sure it’s protected from the elements. We always do our best to protect your laundry however, we cannot be responsible for laundry that is lost or damaged by the weather after it’s dropped off at your home.
We have made thousands of deliveries since we started in 2006 and we have never had a problem with customer items being lost or stolen. We deliver your clothes during daylight hours, when neighborhoods are the most active and safe. With that being said, the customer is responsible for items once they are left in the designated area, so we strongly suggest that your pickup/drop-off location be protected and safe.
This is usually rare, but it can happen. If there is a severe storm, such as a substantial snow or ice, we will return your laundry to you as soon as it’s safe to for our drivers to do so. We will keep you updated to any changes via phone or email.
If you’re going to be away just email us or call us and we will place your account on “Hold” until you return.
Ewww. No, never! We wash and dry our customers’ laundry individually in separate machines. Items are never washed together.
Yes, we do! Send us your sheets, comforters, and any other machine washable items and we’ll be happy to take care of them for you.
Since we offer per pound pricing, we get a lot of questions about how much an average family or individual uses. In our experience, a family of 4 sends in between 20-35 pounds per week. Some may be a little more or a little less but that’s the range and our average order is right about 25 pounds. We have some individuals that like to go every other week and their average order is 20-25 pounds for two weeks worth of laundry. All laundry is based on dry packed weight. If you still have questions, you can use a scale you have at home, or since we don’t have contracts, send us in a bag or two until you’re comfortable.
You can use any plastic bag or laundry bag for your first pickup. We do ask that you tag the laundry with “Simply Clean” and your last name so we know it’s for us. Please don’t use laundry baskets or hampers. Upon delivery of your clean laundry, a laundry bag will be provided for your future laundry services.
We do our best to accommodate every request. If there’s something special, just let us know and we will make a note to your account.
Yes, we do. Please place all stained clothing in a separate bag with a note indicated the contents may need pretreating and we’ll do our best to get it out. While we’re usually successful at removing stains, we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to get it out. If you can pretreat the stain before putting the garment in the bag, it will increase the odds of success.
Sure, but for your convenience we highly recommend you each sign up for your own account. If you do decide to share an account, clothes will be washed and packed together so you will have to separate your laundry upon its return.
While we are known for our high-quality care, mistakes can happen. If we lose or damage an article, please notify customer service within 48 hours of the laundry being returned to you. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for laundry that is lost or damaged by the weather or after it’s dropped off at your home.
We currently do not offer tailoring services.
We currently offer 2 different detergents for wash and fold. We offer a scented option that consists of Tide detergent and Bounce “Outdoor Fresh” dryers sheets. And we also offer an unscented option that consists of All Free & Clear detergent with Bounce unscented dryer sheets.
Sure. Just put your favorite detergent in your bag and we will be sure to use it with your laundry. We can then either keep the detergent and tag it with your name or return it each time with your order.
Absolutely. We have large machines that can handle large comforters. Just make sure they are machine washable and we will do the rest.
We take your clothes out of the dryer as soon as it stops (what we call a pre-fold). Then hang everything neatly or folded right away. No wrinkles, no ironing needed.
Absolutely. We offer All Free & Clear as an option and it is NO extra charge.
If you refer a friend to Simply Clean and they mention you when signing up – we will give you $10 CREDIT toward your next laundry service. No Limit on how many referrals you give us – you are entitled to credit for each referral. Your referral must mention your name during signup. Have you told anyone about our service?
While it is extremely rare, there are circumstances where clothes could be lost, missing, or damaged while in our possession. We take these claims extremely seriously and want to make sure customers are always happy with our service. If you find you need to speak to us about an item, please contact us within 7 days of finding the lost, missing, or damaged items.
Simply Clean Laundry calculates reimbursement by taking the value provided on the claim form and reimbursing at a blanket depreciation of 50% of replacement cost of each item up to a maximum of (10) ten times the cost of the original order price or average weekly order price. If an item was purchased within 60 days prior to the order date and proof of purchase is provided, we will reimburse 100% of the value up to the maximum still of (10) times the original order price.
